If a booking is cancelled by the Customer prior to 12 hours of the start of the period of hire, any deposits or payments in full will be 100% refundable.
Every effort will be made by Airport Transfers Yorkshire to ensure that vehicle(s) arrive on time and reach destinations on time too. The Company shall not be held responsible or liable for any delays (and/or arising consequential losses) that occur beyond its control. Airport Transfers Yorkshire will reimburse customers should we fail to collect them. This amount shall be no more than the cost incurred by the customer obtaining alternative transport.
The Driver will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the Customer when term (7) may apply. Although vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims under British Law, Customer's properties are carried entirely at their own risk and Airport Transfers Yorkshire shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.
Airport Transfers Yorkshire and its Driver or Contractors have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behavior poses a threat either to the Driver, the vehicle or any other passenger.
Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the Client's' statutory rights.
Collection
We can pick you up from anywhere in the UK. and take you to anywhere in the UK. as long as it is pre-booked. You will find that we are one of the main leaders in our field and that is why we are able to keep our prices very competitive. Please note, that the prices to pick up from all airports are inclusive of car parking charges and waiting time whilst passengers collect their luggage and clear customs.
All passengers will be met at the INFORMATION DESK, by one of our drivers, who will be holding an Airport-Transfers-Yorkshire.co.uk which will have their name, flight number and destination displayed on it. If you can not see the driver at the INFORMATION DESK, please contact our control center on 0845 226 1014 where the operator will contact the driver directly on their mobile phone.
The operator will stay on the line until you have successfully met the driver.
Child Seats The law is here...
If the driver doesn’t provide the correct child car seat
, children can travel without one - but only if they travel on a rear seat and wear an adult seat belt if they’re 3 or older without a seat belt if they’re under 3
Please note
that we provide child seats as a courtesy service. Whilst we make every effort to ensure child seats are available, we cannot gurantee, suitability for your child, or availability for your journey. Usage of child seats is entirely at the passenger's discretion, and we cannot be held responsible or liable for their usage. All requests for us to provide child seats and carraige of buggies etc must be specified on the booking form.
Bulky & Excessive luggage and special items
To ensure the best service and to provide you with the best vehicle for your need, we need to be informed about any big luggage or special items (with odd shape, heavy or bigger than usual, such as, but not limited to: strollers, wheelchairs, scuba dive equipment, bikes, golf bags). You will pay for any eventual expenses incurred for additional or different vehicles, which can be necessary to carry any luggage or special items not specified on the booking form.
Delays & Cancellations
The average amount of time required by passengers to collect their luggage and clear customs is between 15 to 45 minutes. Our drivers will stay at the INFORMATION DESK for one hour after the flight has landed. He/she will then phone our office for further instructions. If you are delayed by customs, immigration or baggage please phone our operations center on 0845 226 1014 from inside the arrivals hall. If the office has not made contact with the customer, the driver will be allocated another job and the customer will incur the full charge.
In the event of cancellation (i.e. passengers miss their flight or connection)or you simply change your mind,as long as we are notified no less than 12 hours in advance there will be no charge and a full refund will be given.
Please note when booking, if traveling intercontinental close to midnight, you will land on the next day. To avoid any problems on arrival please keep a note of our telephone number, alternatively you may wish to print off a copy of this page.
